Because of the small size of our department, all scheduling for call, OR, clinics and teaching will be arranged at the beginning of your elective

Urology Resources for Learners

At Urology North we are proud to be affiliated with The Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM).  As such, we will occasionally have present in the clinics and OR medical learners.  These include both medical students and resident doctors.  We appreciate the assistance of our patients in helping to train the next generation of Ontario doctors by allowing our learners to be involved in your care.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to speak with us at any time.   

The expectations we have of our learners is the same expectations we hold ourselves too.

- Be respectful of patients, other learners, staff, and colleagues 

- Dress professionally

- Be on time

- Be prepared for clinics / ORs

- never be afraid to ask questions (the goal is to learn!)
